Nittaku Miyabi vs darker speed 90

I used Sanwei h10, american hinoki, I love it but it's heavy.
Now, i ordered miyabi, because some said it is like darker speed 90 (holy grails as they say), but I feel miyabi is so soft compare to direct feel of sanwei h10.
Give me your review on darker speed 90 and miyabi or other 1 ply

A heavier blade (same wood type) would most likely be more direct and harder than a lighter blade. Since it is one big chunk it can differ quite a bit. Look for a heavy Miyabi to get a more direct feel.

Is it possible to have a 10.5mm and yet within 90grams? Will it feel more direct?

I don't know really... But I have a 9 mm Miyabi which is 85 grams... So it doesn't sound totally unreasonable.
When it comes to 1ply You basically get what you get. There is not a whole lot of them around.

Perhaps, but the chances are not that high, if not to say slim. However I do own a Xiom Hibi O Tour Jpen which has 10.3 mm thickness and weighs 86g. Don't ask me how it feels or plays though, since I only bought it for my little collection and and I won't be playing with it...
My other Hinoki Jpens (10 - 10.5 mm) are all around 100g heavy.
