I think 301 has a softer feeling, more flex, more control.Hi,
Wondering if anyone has tested both blades (DHS 301 and Butterfly Innerforce layer alc) ? Which has the most control and speed? Which blade do you prefer and why?
Thanks
Thanks, so you have used both?I think 301 has a softer feeling, more flex, more control.
Innerforce alc is stiffer, has more speed.
Thanks, so you have used both?
Just tell him to get Sanwei 75 Inner bro lolIve tried both on other people's paddles. Ive never owned these blades.
But also you can interpret from the compositions. 301 is thinner, and it has a lighter and softer feeling.
Innerforce is thicker and has a more solid feeling
Actually true. Sanwei 75 inner is really good, you'd probably be better off with that than either the Innerforce or the 301Just tell him to get Sanwei 75 Inner bro lol
You're right, the 301 surface is very porous and completely unsealed, so you'd definitely want to seal it!The handle of the DHS is extremely small though. And it needs to be sealed.
How much thinner? My Innerforce is 5.9mm301 is thinner
It would be more reasonable to compare Innerforce with B2 or B2X as limba-innersDHS 301 and Butterfly Innerforce layer alc

I have Innerforce and B2 with the same thickness and within 1g weight difference.
B2 is slower 1270Hz vs 1370Hz and flexier, Innerforce is stiffer and has better blocks
I am comfortable with both at FH side, Innerforce feels a bit too bouncy on BH side. I hated Rakza 7 on Innerforce but it works very well on B2 BH, gonna try Nittaku C1 soon.
B2X may be much closer to Innerforce but I didn't try it.
I own the innerforce layer alc and 2 dhs versions, 301z and 301t.Hi,

Thanks, sounds like the innerforce is a good allrounder. Have you used the Nittaku carbon inner or Petr Korbel (japan) at all. Interesting in the Butterfly matrix they say the innerforce is similar speed to the Korbel. (10.6/10.7).I own the innerforce layer alc and 2 dhs versions, 301z and 301t.
I've played with all of them and out of the 3, innerforce has the best control and speed with the right rubbers.
Innerforce is a soft blade where you must pair it with harder rubbers for the true characteristics to show. Best rubber combo for this blade is Dignics 05.
Dhs 301z is comparable but it has koto outer layer which gives a different crisp feel as compared to muted feeling of soft limba. I like koto on backhand but limba for fh. If you are forehand / bh oriented looping type of player, you will like the innerforce.
However, if u are bh oriented who smashes with fh/bh. This is not the blade as it's too soft for good bh punch or smashes.
I've found dhs 301t to be good for such bh punch shots due to koto outer and high elasticity.
Dhs 301z on the other hand is suited for top spin style of play.
Note, dhs handles its really small and is a good enough reason for me to stop using it.
Please can you specify which are much better in your opinion?I have tried Nittaku Accoustic Carbon (outer) and Petr Korbel. Both are good blades but Nittaku handles are never suitable for me being too thin. Peter Korbel is a pretty fast wood blade which is similar speed but spin wise, Innerforce Layer ALC is much better.
Innerforce layer ALC can well be a starting entry level carbon blade for many players and gradually upgrading the rubbers till you find it too slow. I have recently paired this blade with Hurricane 3 Neo on FH and Dignics 05 on backhand. The blade is not slow at all like what i've initially thought. Having a really good dwell time actually allows the blade to unleash strong forehand loops.
If you would think this blade is too slow, there are the faster options of Harimoto ALC -> Otcharov ALC. I've tested both of them too where Otcharov is simply too fast for me.
Do you really need to get a Butterfly? To me not really, there are simply many Inner carbon blades out there that can be close, equally or much better.
