DHS B2X: Aim Bot Blade?

Hi everyone,

I just wanted to take a moment to gush about my DHS B2X blade. It’s honestly transformed my game, and I’m curious if anyone else here feels the same way about it!

I’m playing mine with Hurricane 8-80 on the backhand and Hurricane 3 Provincial (blue sponge) on the forehand, and it’s pure magic. The thing that stands out the most is how it feels like it has an aim bot built in—especially when opening against backspin. It’s like the ball just knows where to go, and I can’t miss. Those tricky underspin balls that used to haunt me are now opportunities to attack confidently.

Another thing I adore is the blade’s range of power. Whether I need a gentle touch close to the table or a booming counter-loop from mid-distance, the B2X delivers with ease. It also seems to promote spin so effortlessly—I can feel the ball digging into the blade, and my loops have more bite than ever.

The problem? I’m completely stuck with this blade because I can’t find anything like it! I’ve tried a few others, but nothing gives me the same confidence, precision, or versatility. It’s like the B2X has ruined me for other blades (in the best way possible).

Does anyone else here play with the B2X? If so, what’s your setup, and what do you love most about it? I’d love to hear your thoughts and experiences. Maybe someone has found a blade that comes close to matching it?

Looking forward to hearing from fellow B2X enthusiasts—or anyone curious about giving it a try!

Cheers!

I think the regular B2 is a lot better.

I'm really not a fan of the "HLX" or B2X construction. The core is just too thick and feels too stiff and dense for me. I have had several of these blades, and each one of them has disappointed me.
Yasaka Atletico Power: too stiff
Yinhe Pro 05: too stiff
Loki Telson China: too stiff

The only thick core blade that actually feels good is the XVT ZL 600. Also the Sanwei Inner 75 is technically thick core too...but it feels like thin core.

I like the airy trampoline feeling of the regular B2 thinner core blades.

I haven't played it but I can imagine it might feel better in the hand.

The B2X is head heavy in my opinion. That's also why I was surprised that I liked it. Coming from Viscaria which just feels like you're not holding anything...

What makes the B2 better in your opinion?

Check my above post, I updated it. But basically the thinner core gives a more trampoline and elastic feeling.
The thicker core of the B2X gives a more dense, bricky feeling.

B2 is much more consistent in executing touch shots like loops and flicks
