Dignics 09c is amazing

So I finally decided to shell out the money for the Dignics 09c. Glad I did.
I used Hybrid K3 before..... it was great. fun. impressive. amazing. but like a summer fling over before it even got started. It changed its characters in less than 8 weeks.
But I just couldn't let it go.... (like the summer fling) and I wanted more. I tried the aliexpress chinese rubbers. Not the same. sorry guys. Some where great. amazing for the price and beat many high priced rubbers. buuut not the 09c.
So it took me 4-5 days to even like this rubber. I had the same experience with the K3 so I just armed myself with patience.
Overshoot, in the net. wtf? needed to figure out the personality again.
Its weird because its very similar to K3 and yet its different.
But oh dear its now coming alive in my hands. the spin is insane. My serves are winning many points. just like when the K3 was new ad fresh. speed is fast enough but not overwhelming. You got to put some muscle into it, then it goes fast enough. but most rubbers are like this I would say. K3 feels faster to me. Or maybe it was just overwhelming for me the first time and I got used to it now when switching to 09c? Hard to tell.

Blocking is very similar to K3, which means the best I ever tried with any rubbers. I return crazy shots like a pro.
Control is amazing. I place the ball wherever. Im very consistent with the shots now.
Loops are out of this world. Its a match in heaven on my Viscaria blade.
09c is heavier than k3. I need to get used to it. its my only complaint. I prefer lighter blades.
Opposite other users in here I feel that:
it has higher throw angle then k3.
more spin than k3. slightly.
slightly slower then k3.
arc is stronger/shorter than k3. I see the ball go UP..... yet still lands on the table when I didnt expect this.

So this is the end of my EJ journey it feels like. This will be what I use onwards only. Im actually glad as it gets expensive to test all this stuff out. Also it disrupts the finer levels of play shifting blades all the time.
The price sucks. But im told longevity is more than ok. ill put $ aside each month until a new set is needed. Makes it a little less painful haha.

Now its all about the game. Having fun.

How did you find the control and consistency? You mentioned shots into net and overshooting..

I always had the problem of the ball dropping off the rubber, not grabbing the ball.

D09C is the best BH rubber ever for me, hand down. Loads of spin and good speed, last way longer than Tenergies or any ESN rubbers I've tried, and could be boosted using same boosters as for H3 once the performance slightly drops.

They'd last longer if you dry-boosted your tissues! As for me, I prefer my Chinese nasal rags that come sticky from the factory.

Some time ago I tried a dignics 09C on my friend ovtcharov alc blade (fh side) and I was stunned how easy was to land the ball on the other side of the table with speed, high spin and nice arc, regardless of the angle of my bat.

Do you use D09C both sides? Do you boost it on fh?

I had these problems due to having to get used to the rubber. First few days.
Now I am as consistent with it as I was with the K3. Which also took me about a week to get used to.
I would say the rubber grabs the ball extremely well. Its very grippy. no issues there for me.

both sides. no booster.
ANd I agree. it feels almost like cheating. its so easy to control its crazy.

It lost the "edge" on its grippy aspects. The spins where little less impressive.
Also arc changed and I overshoot the table.
the changes where minimal, but enough to bother me. Wife couldnt feel a difference. She is still using it.

Yinhe Jupiter 3 asia
yinhe big dipper
and I think im forgetting 1 or 2 more.
they are all good. really good. incredible for those prices.
Unfortunately I didnt find them as good as k3 or 09c. And I really REALLY wanted this to be as good.
My wife likes them just as well as k3 and 09c. in fact she likes the jupiter 3 the most.

I still have a loki GTX set here I havent tried yet as I know it requires booster and baby oil. I still havent figured out how and when to apply the baby oil. but would be cool if it played like 09c.

I think 09c prices are insane. And I am questioning my sanity when I am placing the order. I have enough $ for it but still I hate the idea of 80$ for a sheet of rubber.
But when I play with it there is a smile on my face. I shoot balls I never did before. I guess thats whats its all about.

I still agree with your wife. I really find Jupiter 3 and BD and those to be just as good (fast, spinny) as anything but with better control than ESN or D09c.

I really want to like D09c. Actually I like it on the BH where I don't seem to have problems.

It's really on the FH that I can't seem to get it to work for me. Maybe I need to dedicate more serious time with it to learn it's method.

incredible. its one of its strong points. I play technically high level spin, blocks, crazy serves, placing the ball in corners. then open up with strong flicks over the table. It does this better than anything else I ever tried.
Its so grippy and spinny that for some reason I can override a strong short serve cut with a top spin flick. and because of high throw angle and arc it gets over the net but lands on the table with crazy topspin. they often overshoot the table in the return.
My confidence went up a few levels with it as I trust it more to actually succeed.

the guys dont like my new weapon. I havent lost 1 single set the last 4-5 days.
