it is water based glue (I assume) so the answer is YES.

Now to the details:
If your glue smells of ammonia it might pay to create a solution of water and 1% ammonia. This was recommended to me by the people from Revolution3 and worked fine.

I am not an expert or a chemist so i am sharing just my personal experience here.

Now DHS15 glue also smells of ammonia but my experience was not that great when diluting it. The glue after spreading on a blade would make fish-eyes and i always had to let it dry a bit and get back over it with the little sponge but it was never perfect.
Maybe I thinned it too much ???

Conclusion: Try to add a bit of water but very little , a few drops might do the trick.

Use distilled water or the minerals may react funny. I dampen the applicator sponge before gluing. Seems to help spread the glue better an it doesn't soak up into the sponge.

Why would you want to dilute the glue? Is it too hard to spread? Do you suspect that the glue is old and has dried out in it's container? Diluting with distilled water will probably work but you will also have to add ammonia to keep the solution stable. Once diluted the solution will have less rubber solids per volume. If the strength of the join holds up, great, if not you will have to keep adjusting.

Today i tried to Glue my both rubber and blade with just 2-3 drops of distilled water the result is really impressive. I am actually suprised it worked really good.

I can also confirm that I had some glue that was 1.5-2 years old. It was nearly drying out. I added just a touch of water, waited 2 days, and I had my glue back again as if it was new

Thanks … you know some on this forum have a ocd for perfection?
Because of you I have to buy a new bottle, wait for 1 1/2 year, dilute it with three drops to have the perfect glue.
😉

And now for exactly the opposite: The half bottle of DHS 15 that i diluted too much, how can I get it to thicken up again ??? 😲

I guess leave the bottle open so that the liquids evaporate.

The problem is if there's anything important in the glue that evaporates faster than water. Maybe not the case with WBG.

Be careful dilluting water based glue too much. I did this one time for a DHS No. 15 glue that got too thick.

Using 2 layers on rubber and 1 layer on the blade, the contact felt hollow and empty. If you dillute your glue, maybe you have to use more layers and wait longer for all the water to evaporate.

The question is whether it is doable in the bottle. I have 3/4 of 500ml DHS #15 and i can’t use it on the blade. It sink and dry immediately. I tried twice today on my q968 and removed it as I was not able to spread it evenly. It drove me crazy, took Sueke and did the job. On the rubber it is somehow manageable but on the dry blade not. It is really thick.
Not sure but bottle is opened around 6 months, it’s still liquid but very dense/thick.

before risking the whole reminder of the bottle of dhs15, take some stick and a saucer. Dig out 1 spoonful of glue, use the stick to bring the glue from the spoon to the saucer the add 1 DROP of water and use the stick to spread the glue. If it all looks ok then you can add slowly more water until the glue is the way you like it.
If all this works you can repeat it all with the rest of the glue using this time some small bowl. Maybe like a chinese rice bowl.

I need to get in here ...

I'm also using DHS15. The 500 ml bottle is in use for more than a year.

Since last week, the glue starts to set after a few brushes to get a thin, equal level. The foam then keeps some set glue at the end. Is the glue done? Could be, some set glue got into the glue? Can I save it? At least, I need to glue my H3 after re-boosting. The delivery of a new bottle will take some time.

Yes, it can be diluted. However, you need to be careful on the quantity of water which you are putting into it. I have done this in the past when my Revolution No. 3 glue started to thicken up too much.
Also, check for the decoloration of the glue before diluting. I had another bottle which was sitting on the shelf for too long. The glue not only thickened too much, but also decolor to light brown. I believe when you reach this stage, it is better to discard the bottle and get a new one.
