Hi fam, hope all of you are doing well.

I have a question, currently, I use a Xiom Icecream Azxi with Xiom Omega 7 Euro on the ALC side (BH) and Xiom Omega 7 Pro on the ZLC side (FH), but now I want to change to an all-wood composite set up because I need to develop more consistency in my strokes, don't get me wrong I love my current setup, but I am very forgiving with it.

The setup that I am planning to buy is the following: Stiga Infinity VPS V/Nittaku Acoustic/Tibhar Power Wood/Butterfly Petr Korbel

Rubbers:
  1. Tibhar Evolution MX-P Thickness 1.9-2.0 (BH)/ Yasaka Rakza X
  2. Donic Bluefire M1 Thickness max (FH)/Nittaku Fastarc G1

I am a BH-oriented player, most of the time I try to serve so the opponent´s return will be directed to my BH, I am trying to be like Dima lol, but I don´t know which blade to choose or rubbers as well, so I will appreciate any reply or suggestion.

If you have any other equipment suggestions besides the one that I mentioned, let me know too!

Take care team!

Never change rubber and blade at the same time or else you won't be able to pinpoint the differences.

The korbel is pretty inexpensive, so go for that one. Perhaps you can put your old rubbers onto it. This would be the most economic choice

Out of the four, only Infinity had a hard top ply.

If you are Bh oriented I wouldn’t play limba as top ply as it’s really soft, great for FH power drive.

I would go for Infinity, or even better DHS Hao2 or 656 with Koto top ply. I have played with Acoustic, Infinity, Hao2 and Korbel. Acoustic and Hao2 have the most clear feedback but Hao2 bh side is more crisp and direct.

I would say yasaka ma lin carbon with mxp on fh and fastarc g1 on bh would suit you well. Petr korbel or infinity vps are also good but I've never tried them.
