UPDATE...I ASKED FOR ADVICE FROM EACH MANUFACTURER AND HAVE GOTTEN A FEW REPLIES SO FAR. ADMIN, YOU CAN REMOVE THIS POST IF YOU WOULD LIKE. THANK YOU!!!

I'm going to purchase a new blade that will be from one of the following brands: Nittaku, Donic, Tibhar, or Yasaka.

I know the following rubbers get a lot of praise from each brand: N. Fastarc, D. Bluestorm, T. Evolution, and Y. Rakza 7.

What are your opinions of these rubbers? Are there any other from these companies you prefer?

Do you use the same rubber on both sides of your paddle? If not, why not?

Recap of my playing style: Backhands: stay close to the table, hit as many backhands as possible, short quick upward strokes (slice when needed), getting as much spin as I can with those strokes, counterattacking by putting the ball quickly back onto my opponents side (either deep and usually in the corners or with a sharp angle), attacking when the opportunity arises, trying to create errors on their part. Forehands: usually have heavy spin (mainly topspin) hit further from the table (currently not as much blocking with the forehand). Current paddle Nittaku KVL Defensive blade with Nittaku Spiral rubber, probably at least 10+ years old, and seems severely underpowered against the better players I'm now playing against. Grippy rubber is a must for my game.

Thank you in advance for all your help!
