Recently chipped my fextra 7 wood. I have been playing with it for a few months and I've gotten quite good, but blade is dead now.

Read other posts and sounda like Yinhe Pro 01 or 05 seem to be best within my budget. How do they compare with fextra 7 and which of these is better for top spin?

If you are set on picking between these two, I would definitely opt for the Pro 05. It's a little easier to control in short game and still feels kind of woody. But make no mistake, both are very powerful carbon blades.

If you're talking about a few months, and starting from zero experience, I can only recommend buying a new all-wood blade.

The Fextra 7 is Limba/Limba/Ayous/... The Pro 05 is Limba/(likely Limba)/KLC/Ayous/... The Pro 01 is Koto/ALC/?/Ayous. The Pro 05 is closer to the Fextra 7 and not necessarily faster. The control of the Pro 05 is better. The Pro 01 is different due to the harder top layer, and the external structure. So I would go with the Pro 05.

I have an old Yasaka Sweden Classic lying around. How do these compare with that? Is it a big difference? Will the blades make a big difference on how the rubbers will play?
Rubber fh: bloom power bh: ak47 yellow

Sweden classic is a lot slower. I would think bloom power is way to slow unless you are a beginner…

I had two Pro 01's and one 05. Speed is about the same. Despite the limba outer and inner carbon, 05 feels harder and has a lot less feeling, therefore it has less control for me.

Try Fextra 7 Power if you liked Fextra 7 but want more speed.
Ive been using the pro 05 for the past few weeks, but in all honesty this is the worst blade i have.

Too stiff, too hard, doesn't catch the ball well at all.

Xvt zl600 is much better

Today I tested out my Pro 01. I think in general it is quite similar to Butterfly Koto-ALC blades. Wouldn't say it is worse or better. But after playing with it, I feel it's pretty safe to say that this style of blade just isn't for me.

The feeling isn't as good as my inner fibre blades. I don't feel the catch from the blade.
