Hi all, I have had my new bat for about 3 months. When I glued it, I notied the h3 neo had a plastiky covering on the sponge. It has now disentagrated, but I would still like to know what it is. Thank you.
It was the factory glue with booster. It just combined with the glue you used and the booster is evaporated by now.

Not sure exactly what you're talking about specifically, but H3N comes "factory boosted" with glue already on the sponge, and a protective sheet covering that glue. You're supposed to remove that sheet and just apply the rubber to your blade, unless you'd like to add another layer of glue on to the sponge.

So if you're talking about that protective sheet, then yea you should've removed that. Not sure why you'd want to remove the glue itself tho.

Do you mean this clear stuff on the sponge? Just apply your booster on top of it as usual. It looks like a silicon film, I guess it's there to help protect the sponge. You can scrub it off if you want to spend 10 minutes doing that.
