I am seeking advice for my first blade. I am beginner, probably more into offensive style, not to much technique . Currently playing with premade LokiE9. It is Koto blade(5+2) plus RXTON 5 both rubbers.
After lot of investigations I compiled following list of blades

Donic Persson Power Play
Donic Original Dotec ALL+
Donic Waldner Senso Carbon
Donic Burn OFF-
Yasaka Ma Lin Soft Carbon
Yasaka Sweden Extra
Yasaka Sweden Classic
Tibhar Stratus Power Wood
Tibhar IV-L

As for rubbers list is smaller, all rubbers FH 2.0,BH 1.8 (,same vendor on both sides, but may consider different vendors for FH and BH)

Donic Barracuda S1
Yasaka Ragza 7
Xiom Vega X

I am willing more control with good speed.
Will appreciate any advice on above, or other alternatives.
Thanks

This is simple I cannot by online from abroad official stores (neither Amazon nor Tabletennis11 or others) butterfly products due to some exclusive agreement between Israeli importer and butterfly. And it is easier fir me to order online than go to the store. Anyway what do you recommend from Butterfly? I will check with importer here if he has it.

Hard to say. But you say beginner, and have played with these quite hard, tacky rubbers and wants to change it completely to quite soft, bouncy rubbers? This might ruin the technique you've built up before...
I know that pre-mades might have less good rubbers than the original ones, and Rxton V might be a bit misleading then. So what do you feel works good and less good with your current bat? Are you flat-hitting most, or brushing some as well?

Yasaka Sweden Extra and Rakza 7 2.0 on both sides. Great blade and rubbers! I have played with Barracuda before and its spin sensitive and difficult to block with for a beginner. Great for open up backspin but I think Rakza 7 will be a better choice. Yasaka Sweden Extra is fantastic and not to fast which means your loops will be on the table and not to long etc.

I did not get sorry.. do you recommend powerwood? as for rubbers I was thinking towards Barracuda ..Why don you think it less suits for beginner?
Powerwood with both side Baracuda is also good. It was one of my early set-up.

The best here would be sweden extra with rakza 7. It's a classic for new and developing players. It can even serve advanced players.

As a budding TT player's first real / serious TT blade; one cannot go wrong with Falcima or Petr Korbel.

Jeah it's a nice blade that could serve you your whole tabletennis career.
It's very similar to a bty korbel, but with a little thicker handle.
I haven't played with barracuda so I don't recommend it. The other two I tried, these are good for beginners, not to soft, not to bouncy. Great middleground in alot of aspects.

+1

Avoid XIOM Vega X, it is fast and bouncy, will be difficult to control.

Unfortunately control and speed are the inverse of each other.
More control = less speed…

If you want a 5+2 blade you have:
Donic true carbon = speed,
Donic true carbon inner = spin and control.

Since you are playing with a premade I would guess you are a beginner, then I would not recommend either of those, instead get any 5 ply allwood blade with a thickness just short of 6mm.

Cheers

Tabletennis11 has Nittaku Acoustic on sale for 87 Euros atm. Great value for this blade. Ask for a lighter one, about 82-84 g ( 90g+ are a bit too fast and hard to manoeuvre for a beginner), also ask them to lacquer the blade and put Rakza 7 2.0 mm on both sides, and you are set for the next 3 years. Arguably the best allwood blade ever. I still own two. TT11 are top guys.

Just a spin-off of the blade.

Where or how would you rate donic true carbon inner to donic orignial exclusive carbon in terms of same (spin+control)

Great blade for all play with a lot of control: DONIC Appelgren Allplay Senso V1.
Rubbers for offensive as well as all play with great control: Xiom Vega Euro, Tibhar FX-P, Acuda S2.

If you mean Donic (original) True carbon vs Donic (original) true carbon inner, true carbon inner is a little slower and more flexy. Therefore it will be easier to control and generate spin with Donic (original) true carbon inner.

I gave these 2 options to OP because he was playing with a 5+2 blade and had mostly Donic on his list of options.

Best composition for beginners is limba+limba+ayous+limba+limba. Amazing feeling, and you will get speed if you hit hard.

Several of the blades mentioned have this composition:
- Tibhar Stratus Powerwood is an incredible option. Probably the best one, even. The only unusual thing about this blade is that the head is quite large. Personally, I like the large head but some people don't.
- Butterfly Petr Korbel or Primorac Wood are also good options. A bit more expensive, and they feel exactly the same as every other blade with this composition.
- Neottec Voodoo Classic is amazing, and cheap. Can't go wrong with this one at all. If you want a little faster, Neottec Gamma Seven (7-ply instead of 5-ply) is also good.
- Waldner Senso V1 or V2 are both pretty good. Don't get the Senso Carbon.

Outside of the limba+limba+ayous+limba+limba composition, you could consider Ma Lin Extra Offensive. This gives you a bit more power and a bit less control. Should be used with hard tacky Chinese rubbers, such as Skyline 2 or Hurricane 3. Another good blade in this genre is Yasaka Goiabao.

Don't get anything with carbon in it. Carbon is not for beginners.

For rubbers, if you're used playing with Rxton you should go with Chinese rubbers. Good options are:
- DHS Skyline 2 (or other Skyline series)
- DHS Hurricane 3 (or other Hurricane series)
- Yinhe Big Dipper
- Yinhe Jupiter
- Palio AK47

If you want to try a European rubber, try Yasaka Mark V. Unequivocally the best European option for a beginner.
