Um, I need more space to store new blades... 😂🤣 and GF is saying I have too much crap lying around I'm not using lol
Just buy a one ply Hinoki 10mm and keep it as family heirloom. One blade to rule them all.

also, you never actually own a Hinoki, you merely look after it for the next generation....

Don't give me ideas... I already have w968, cybershape and clipper wood 40th edition on the way 🤣

Slight bump, just counted that I have 24 old rubbers left. Also, when digging through my box of gluing tools and accessories, I found a few brand new unopened rubbers I forgot about, uploading pictures in a bit.
Do a thorough search of your house. Your net worth will skyrocket🤣

I just received a batch of rubbers from Duke. What do you use to cut the rubbers? They are cut very evenly.

You noticed 😁 I use a scalpel to cut rubbers, #24 blade. When cutting I use the "two-cut" technique, the first cut is a slight one, just enough strength to cut through the sponge, and the second cut is a full strength cut to go through the entire rubber.

I also DIY'd a rotating cutting board with these, the notch is perfect for the handle of the blade, so when cutting it'll sit flat on the cutting board. Got the idea after seeing this (https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32893203566.html):
