Hammond z2 durability?

Hi, I have now decided I’m going to go with the Hammond z2 on my FH.

Having used the Fastarc G1 previously I was just wondering if then Hammond z2 is a durable rubber which will last a while. The fastarc G1 does so just wanted to know.

Z2 has a brittle topsheet, It will come off around the edges. Looks pretty bad but does not generally effect performance. I would say that G1 has a longer lasting top sheet. If someone claims Z2 is like T05, don't believe them.
Z2 is nice but if T05 is a panther Z2 is a pussy cat...

Really?! I've come across an opinion that Z2 is faster than T05. It's strange that there are so many different opinions when it comes to rubbers...

Nope, close but not faster, the big difference is grip and spin. With T05 You can load the sponge and shoot a canon, this is not possible with Z2.

My 2 pence which might be bad luck: when I tried to remove the rubber from a blade the sponge tore from the topsheet and i had pieces of sponge residue on the blade

Used a sheet for about three months (playing once a week) and it still works fine. Edges slightly tored but there are worse rubbers in that regard.

Z2 is more similar to Dignics 05 than Tenergy 05.

forget the rest

T05 for amateurs is simply a much much better choice. a beat up T05 can still spin better than the rest in the same condition.

I like Z2, it doesn't last longer from what i see, but it will last longer for my choice anyway, and i only use 1.8mm or 2.0mm thickness, all black color, only for FH.
