Has anyone tried regular Innerforce ALC with H3?

Hi,

I got the chance to play with a Harimoto ALC of my teammate for 2 sessions recently. He is using D09c.

I personally have been using Hugo HAL with Hurricane 3 Neo for almost a year now. Not gonna lie, while I love my blade, I noticed how much I miss the soft feeling of Limba with extra gears of the Innerforce type blade, especially for looping and blocking.

Therefore my question, has anyone tried the Butterfly Innerforce ALC with regular headsize in combination with hurricane orange or blue sponge?

Can anyone compare the experience to Koto outer blades?

Thanks!

i can't compare directly what you asked, but my teammate is playing the harimoto alc blade and it is faster then the Hugo HAL blade that i play myself. it feels totally different too. it vibrates more and (the harimoto blade is 90g, while my Hugo HAL is 83g) and therefore sometimes feels a bit more controlled while playing soft, but the moment you start looping the innerlayer kicks in, it get's pretty fast and the blade feels way harder then the HAL. it also feels like that the ball get soaked into the wood and you have a tiny bit more time while playing forehand loops, but that is also the opposite in backhand. i feel may more confident in playing backhand because the Hugo HAL is more responsive even though it is a bit slower. i have overall more control with the HAL but it is a totally different blade feeling and playing wise due to not having any carbon inside, so overall softer and slower feeling, easier to play. but what feels the same is the throw.

PS: my teammate plays with tenergy 05 and tenergy 19

Haven't tried innerforce with a h3 neo but i am currently testing h3 with a viscaria(unboosted)the new version isn't that tacky anymore and is a bit faster.Easy to control and produce really spinny open ups, excellent for counter topspins, good if you are a heavy hitter and play actively with a lot of power, can be very exhausting though

hi, thanks for your insights. very interesting, why do you feel like having more time/dwell on FH but less on BH?

I agree, Harimoto was a bit faster, then again, the weight difference also plays a role probably (90g vs 83g). But I assume even with the same weight, innerforce should be slightly faster. Though I didnt feel like the blade was hard at all, it was rather soft

Still looking for insights on the IF ALC with h3, I am tempted to try the blade out with a sheet of commercial 39 degree

I had a Butterfly innerforce ALC and played it with H3 orange, Neos, and also Rxton 5 . I played well with these combos but sold the blade because it did nothing that any cheap ALC inner layer blade from Aliexpress could also do.
You are completely wasting your time trying to evaluate and compare what we all say here in response to your question because there are always too many unknowns involved.
Spending 20 dollars will get you a blade and then the experimenting can really begin. 😊
