Question to experienced pips players -- do you prefer a heavy or a light blade?
I have one Rosewood NCT which is 98g, and another which is 80g. I am wondering which to use with pips and which to use with inverted.
I could imagine that a lighter blade will be good for short, quick, sharp movements, but I can also imagine that a heavy blade will be more stable when flat-hitting, so I am torn between them. With pips I mostly like to play chop-blocks, fast blocks, and punches (penhold FH pips style).
