Gracias.
Hello, thanks for your reply.
At my level, I win quite a few points with my serve, but it's true that when I play against someone of a higher level, they attack my ball.
I'll practice serving shorter.
I see you play in the national league. I played for a season more than 20 years ago in the second national league, but with poor results.
Thanks again, and it's nice to meet you.
You probably did not get any feedback because your forms and your mechanics look to be very good. You also attacked on almost all the serves that were long toward you. So nothing much to say other than keep on practicing!
Is there any reason you want to try hybrid rubber on your forehand? You are using T80 on forehand so if you switch to hybrid and/or Hurricane, you would need to change the angle and your mechanics so why change? You like your forehand and if so, don't mess with it.
As for backhand, have you thought about switching from T05 fx to T05 or T80? I don't like fx because it is too soft and the ball bounces all over the place even at low speed strokes.
Finally, why carbon? You generate enough speed and spin with Tenergy on top of Petr Korbel so why change? Another reason is, if you want to experiment, only change one thing at a time. So either change the blade to carbon (but keeping T80 and T05fx the same) or keep Korbel and change your forehand rubber to hybrid or hurricane. I personally don't like any hybrid rubber except D09c.
Hi, the reason I tried a hybrid rubber is because sometimes it feels like the Tenergy80 when I'm away from the table, it's a bit short on power. As for the backhand, I just switched to 05fx, since I've been playing with Rozena for the last year. And the carbon, for a similar reason as the hybrid rubber, but I think I'll ultimately stick with Korbel.
Thank you so much.
Hi,
@Fishalo! I would advise you to work more on your serves. You need to be able to serve short serves with different spin and direction that will make it difficult for your opponents to attack and allow you to use your strong stroke that you have on the 3 ball. Hybrid rubber will help with this.
I will do this.
Thanks.
You have it in You, my advice is just play more and it will come back more and more… My guess is You already are inna club with a coach…
Cheers

Yes, I train two days a week.
+1 on just keep on playing! if you don‘t have a coach yet, then get one for at least 5 sessions and then try to implement the stuff in your daily training and have fun
korbel is a really good blade and tenergy fit‘s really well on it! if you change you should stay with grippy rubbers and don‘t mind the hybrids… they don’t last long, are expensive and need really good timing and acceleration. i would just change the backhand rubber to rozena and maybe try tenergy 19 or 05 on forehand. but better to put money into a good coach
Yes, I train two days a week.
And I've played with Rozena on the backhand for the last year, but in the end, I thought she was too small for me.
tell us what club table tennis is like in your country. do you have enough matches against different players and players of similar level?
Yes, I think I'm at a club with very different players, many of them much higher level than me.
I usually train with players of my same level, but there are some with long pimps, short pimps, inverted rubbers, there's quite a bit of variety.
And the coach is a good player in my country's División de Honor (the second-highest division here).
To give you an idea, he plays in the same league as Miikka O'Connor, and has a better percentage.
I think I'm in the right place, even though I can only train two days a week.
Thank you.
