I want to try something that's very similar to my setup but newer.

I want to try something more current but still good for a similar playstyle, so budget is a bit tight.

My playstyle hasn't changed for the last few years and the setup has but only a bit. I started with a Clipper wood, with H3 FH and Desto F1 BH. Basically heavy spin on FH and very fast on BH. Did change to H8 and Desto F4 to optimize a bit a time ago, but all this equipment is still very old.

I was mainly trying to figure out what to use for BH since I am planning on buying a sanwei v5 pro, I've heard good things about it and how it's similar it is to the clipper.

More or less spin doesn't really matter too much, but I want to know about some faster rubbers, but not too hard.

If you are changing you blade, stick with H8 and Desto F4. Trust me. You do not want to change your blade and your rubbers at the same time. It will take way too long for you to get adjusted and playing won't be fun for a while.

Every blade is unique. Just because sanwei v5 pro is similar to Clipper does not mean anything. Until you have the blade in your hand with the rubbers you are familiar with, you have no idea if Sanwei V5 pro is similar to Clipper or not.

My friend,
Can you tell me more about Desto F4? Currently I am using Desto F2 on FH and it is OK'ish, not great, just OK'ish.
I am thinking about using F4 for BH, but I am too afraid it is too soft. What is your experience with it like for BH? Please share.
