Help with boosting DHS rubbers

There is a brush that cones in the bottle, make sure you let it drip off or you will get too much oil. Then just brush it on evenly (pretty thin layer). Then wait for the sponge to curl. If it doesn’t put another layer on in a few hours. Then wait for it to uncurl again. 1-3 layers is fine. I use 2. If you don’t wait for it to uncurl it will be much more difficult to glue but otherwise it is not necessary.

This applies to both rubbers?

Yes it does, the effect doesn’t last very long but it changed gradually when you play. Since it is an oil it didn’t evaporate quickly, it is mostly mechanical wear. Since it changed gradually you will get used to it. Also it needs to be broken in so it peaks around 2-3 sessions.
