How can I remove my blade's handle without damaging it?

Hey guys any tips on how to remove a blade handle from one blade to swap with another?

It depends on the glue you are using and blade.Have you try nail polish remover?

I heaven't tried it myself but my friend always put it in the microwave oven. Has someone tried this?

It sounds like it can damage the blade so I would not try it before someone can certify that it's harmless. I just know that my friend always did it, and he did not seems to have any problem with it.

Most blades use a strong wood glue so if you boil the blade handle in water or take a cup of boiled water and let the blade sit in there for 1 minute you can get a razor blade and/or flat head screwdriver to wedge the handle off.

DO NOT microwave a carbon blade as your blade will basically either burn or explode. Wood blades can work fine in a microwave for 20 seconds or less, but realize that you always run the risk of damaging / warping the blade from the appliance.

I've swapped a few handles recently and had great success with the boiled water method.

Thanks to those of you who made suggestions. I will share my experience when I've had a chance to give this a go.
