I was user, you liked my comments so I will not lie to you.
You have wall and the ball comes to you forward if you kick the ball to the wall.
That's how I hate d05 because you must use a lot of knowledge and have good luck and know how to help your luck to create a space with your legs and body to absorbs Energy.
That's why I AM not fan of using dignics 05 on both sides because ...you will have chance to absorbs Energy from one side but using on both sides IT will not benefit anything except bad technique because you will start to be late and misjudge the contact and you will go far away from table and Play ball from low point because you will have more time and the ball will go down.
The most important thing for us 3rd Division, 2nd division is playing ball from the highest point and I think... Dignics need slow soft blade....

Which is the hardest thing to find.

And for me the physique is working in the same way for me and for Ma Long and he is only faster, he see the objects faster, he can adjust his body faster, he can adjust his power faster, and he is quicker in every area than me, he has better feeling and he has maximum TT level but if you will adjust technique to take the ball fast and use your body faster than IT was... the level will go up . That's why...good training camp> new pro rubbers, and that's why we are not able to Play that good with equipment for pros

Depends on your blade. I think nearly every player would find D05 to be controlable on a Korbel, but on a fast blade like Ovtcharov ALC it is going to be alot more reactive to minor errors in technique.
I would also like to add to this that depending on the rubbers you are currently using it will be easier or harder to adapt. So if you have been using D09C for a while, every other Dignics or Tenergy is probably going to feel uncontrolable at first. Because you are not used to the catapult effect anymore.

Great in the short game, very good on openers, counters and slower loops but like all 50+ hardness sponges it gets a bit unpredictable and wild when you follow up or hit really hard.

The direct answer is 'not very' for the average player. It is a very top line rubber, as you know, and to get the dwell needed from that sponge and top sheet on a stiff(ish) blade requires a racket speed and technique that is above average.
It's a hardish sponge so it's not crazy 'uncontrollable' as in it's not as bouncy and fast as Tenergy so you'll find it mostly ok much of the time but when you swing to extract the max from it you can either hit the best shot of your life or break the ball and the window!

Funny timing on this one as well as I just today had a conversation with a friend who has dumped his FZD ALC, D09c and D05 in favour of a Donic Original Senso V2, Rakza XX and Rakza 7 and he absolutely loves the new setup!
He hits hard and is a decent player but the D05 he struggled with in particular. He could probably be described as an average player at the moment but he is serious about his TT and has a high ceiling, there is no doubt that racket was holding him back.

Literally in fact because he was actually holding back because of the speed when he didn't. So it was controllable because he was playing within himself. In short, it wasn't worth spending €80 on it cos he couldn't controllably get more from it than the Rakza 7.

You'll get many answers and this is only 2nd hand info but I observed it directly in playing V this guy every month and he went backwards for taking this step up in equipment.
