How do I add weight to a racket?

I got myself a Stiga Surge Hybrid Carbon, and the weight is a little worrying. I asked for the heaviest which was only 84.7 g. I'm a little concerned, as my current blade has a 4-5 grams of difference. My friends blade is around the same weight as my new one, but his racket was head heavy, with a Dragon Power as BH.

Is there any way to add weight to the racket? I don't want it to compromise my play, and would prefer more aesthetically pleasing solutions.

If you want to add weight, the easiest way is to add grip tape to the handle.

If you want the bat to be more head heavy, put a couple or a few layers of side tapes? I know that pro's are particular with their side tapes. Some put a layer of side tape round the bat but some only put side tape on the part of the racket that touches the table so side tape definitely adds weight to the blade and change how head heavy the blade is.

Play with the blade for 2-3 weeks (almost daily if possible!) with the same rubbers you are used to. Don´t worrie about the weight. Maybe you will get a faster armswing and better FH to BH transitions witth a few grams lighter blade in the end.
