Both have shitty control if one is noob.
For not so noob, T05 has better control.
D80? Nah... need too much strength. I wanna look good while having half arse strokes.
Not sure whether T05 is more explosive, it definitely depends on the power input. Been playing with D80 on both sides and becoming increasingly impressed.Sorry but this is wrong. D80 clearly has better control than T05. T05 is more explosive. I've played with both.

Dignics 80 is not the rubber we deserved, but the rubber we needed.
I have it in 1.9 on backhand of my viscaria and love it. Haven’t tried it on other blades.1) Best blade fit with D80?
2) D80 better on Forehand or Backhand? (I know both sides work, but which side is more natural?)
It's like T05. But I will say that vs D05 or D09c, it is definitely more speed than spin oriented so not as high spin quality on power shots, but very fast and good spin too. And on backhand, I prefer it to D05, it is easier to play all the shots and even banana flick than D05. And if you smash or punch on either side, D80 beatals D05 in that for sure.1) D80 both sides on which blade??
2) Do you like D80 better for Forehand or Backhand? Like T05, it works on both sides. But which is better?
Gozo needs the Seperinger Seponge technology to catapult / trampoline the ball at Mach 2.5 towards the opponent side. Seperinger Seponge X needs more effort because it is harder.Sorry but this is wrong. D80 clearly has better control than T05. T05 is more explosive. I've played with both.
D05 is not D80. D80 has a softer topsheet and is easier to activate.Gozo needs the Seperinger Seponge technology to catapult / trampoline the ball at Mach 2.5 towards the opponent side. Seperinger Seponge X needs more effort because it is harder.
Once Gozo plays with D05, it was difficult to activate the Spring Sponge X so Gozo respectfully bow to D05, and walked away never looking back.
Oh I see... I learned something new today. Thanks NL.D05 is not D80. D80 has a softer topsheet and is easier to activate.
Also while it is difficult to activate the spring sponge to you now, as you get better and use the fingers and whip better, it is quite possible you will appreciate the safe pushing and blocking of Spring Sponge X because it activates slower, as it makes lots of passive serve return easier against heavy spin players. But don't worry, this is at least a year away, as Heming would say, there are lots of players who try Hurricane and hate it and then love it after a few months. I suspect as you get better, you will be a bit more forgiving of Spring sponge X when certain spin and speed problems for you become less relevant and certain control and precision problems become more important.Oh I see... For you, even Dignics 64 would be a reasonable candidate. For me, it is way too soft though.
