How is TT11's blade lacquering?

How well of a job do they lacquer the blades?

Does it change the blade properties very much? Or is it just a very thin layer?

I had a blade lacquer from them since Feb, so far so good, feels thin, still intqct, but I can't comment on how much it changed the blade feeling because I never tried it without lacquering.

I have used 3 of the blades ( will be using 2 more ) from TT11. All lacquered. The layer is really thin and feels very professional. IMO, the difference is very negligible b/w lacquered and non-lacquered to notice.

I had them lacquer all my blades (10's). They use a thin layer of water-based lacquer. I found that if I use solvent based lacquer I sometimes have adhesion problems (glue doesn't stick to the lacquer layer). So their solution worked for me. Also since their lacquer now looks like mine (also water based after their CEO mentioned it) on my blades I see no difference in frequency between with and without lacquer, so it doesn't affect anything in my case.

Their lacquering is top notch. Had 5 blades lacquered no issue. I use both wbg and voc glues

I asked a custom blade maker what he used on my blade - it's water based Minwax Wipe On Poly

I tried it on another blade, it's plays the same. Just use one super thin coat
