I have a premade Stiga bat, mainly a free-time bat. I tried to peel off the rubbers, but only the topsheet came off, but the sponge didn't. It stuck extremely strongly there. Any ideas how could I remove the sponge from the blade without damaging the blade?

Lay a thick kitchen tissue over the blade and soak it in mineral turpentine.
let the sponge soak up the turpentine out of the tissue and after a couple of hours you can gently
push the sponge off the blade with a plastic spatula
