Hi TTD,

any suggestion how to repair such damage? It is on the FH side on which I glue DHS H3 Neo so it is regularly removed, due to reboosting, changing to new one, etc. It doesn't affect my game play, but with each removing of the rubbers a small piece of outer ply is also removed. This is my precious Golden Vis. and I think it is good to secure it somehow.
I can reach out locally someone who does such repairs but I'm wondering whether this is something I can handle by myself using i.e.: epoxy glue, liquid wood and then use sandpaper to smooth/grind.... but I'm not an expert so any advice much appreciated what to use and what to do :)

This is by far the best way I've seen for repairing edge hits, but it requires skills that quite frankly very few have.

The end of the video, the narrator says lacquer but it looks like he's putting on beeswax or something? It would fit the general look of OSP blades, warm colours. Does anyone know if they wax?

Respect if you can do this process! I couldn't do it myself, I would definitely send the blade to a woodmaker!
Well I'll have to sharpen my chisel but taking it slowly and step by step I think I could achieve a similar result.

Having the correct tools and taking your time are the keys l think
