I have to choose a cheap chinese rubber. H3 NEO, 729 Bloom series, 729 Battle 2s, STN.

Hey there. Can someone please compare H3 Neo comm. 40, 729 Bloom Power/Arc, 729 B2 Gold, STN, Jupiter 3, BD 39/40 and H3 Nat BS 39. I'm looking for a forehand rubber for the TB ALC. I've used H3 Nat, B2 Gold, Big Dipper and STN from the list. I feel H3 is too demanding, B2 is too hard, STN is quite a bit softer than what I need, BD 39 is too soft and mushy. Had a bad experience with J3 37 as it was hard, dead and both mushy.

Now I'm choosing something between J3 39, H3Neo 40, BD40 and BP 47.

What I need from a rubber: hard but elastic sponge(STN and H3 Neo like), soft and viscous grippy topsheet, low to medium throw. I usually boost with 2 layers of Johnson's Baby.

I have played with D09c and some other euro hybrids. I liked them but I felt they had sometimes too much catapult and a too high throw. If you know something what fits all parameters but Euro or Japan made please let me know.

Loki Rxton 9 H39, you can then upgrade to H40,5. For 1/2 the H3 price the perf. is very good. Top-sheet is elastic, for me very diff. from STN which I didn't like... However, now I play with Xuperman Powerplay-X, very good rubber too but more exp., and the H3 BS prov. is now getting cheaper, as e.g. @Attitude noted recently, so I'd actually go for H3 prov BS now too... But I took the bullet and got D09C, player in team wants me to stop playing with chinese rubbers ;-)

J3A 38-39° is the best match considering your description.

But as someone who tried everything from your list (and more), I found out nothing can replace boosted H3.

Hello,

Try Battle 3, not to high throw, good spin and a progressive speed. Forehand

YINHE Moon 12 blue, h-, great backhand rubber. So easy to play with and gives good spin and punch when needed. So easy to counter spinny serves.

Another forehand rubber I recommend is the new Sanwei Target national.

Good luck
