I've been playing with the PK50 for over a year and have been more than happy with it.

Now I hear it has been discontinued.
I can buy a few for future use, but once they have gone, I will still need to find something different.
So I'm more inclined to look for an alternative now.

I have tried Rakza Z and find it very similar to the PK50 but my only criticism of both is the weight.

I like the hardness of the sponge, and the lack of catapult effect. I prefer a linear, effort = speed effect.

I appreciate that harder sponges tend to weigh more but are there any rubbers that could be considered similar to PK50 / RZ that may be a bit lighter in weight.

Is the Glayzer 09c a possibility?

you can try Yasaka Rakza 7.
I have not tried Glyzer 09c but I do currently use Dignics 09c it has a tacky surface and feels great for effort = speed

you can get a secondhand one and try it to see if you like it. but it wont be the same as a new one.

Dignics 09C is not exactly similar to Nittaku Sieger PK50. While both are high-performance backhand rubbers, they have distinct characteristics.

Rakza 7 is faster and has a lot more catapult with less spin. Better to get used to the weight…
