Is revspin reliable?

I have my friends FZD ALC that he just borrowed me since he has 2, I have a 301X and in the next couple weeks I will try the FZD ALC with H3 Pro BS 40 unboosted since the blade is fast enough an H3 Pro OS 38 unboosted, so I cannot compare it to my 301X directly and in real time so I revspin for some stats and found it a little weird, HL5X fastest blade whilst being inner?

I mainly wanna know if the FZD blade is any good against 301X.

No. Revspin stats are not reliable. At best it is just a rough guide.

anyone can leave reviews on revspin and the quality of review are not standardized due to different players levels and likes on certain equipment.
so at most it is too biased and extremely unreliable.

IE, one product could have 90% total noobs and other review could be 90% high level players.
no one knows the quality of the reviewer so, take the results as just rough guide as gozo says.

I wouldn’t say revspin is completely useless. But its definitely not the most accurate data to compare rubbers.

Most rubbers are rated around 9 for speed spin and control. The average throw angle is usually somewhere around 6.

Once a rubber has a much higher rating in these areas, (for example spin is rated 9,5) then you can conclude that this rubber has a higher then average spin capability.

And if the throw angle is alot higher or lower then the average 6. For example: Dignics 09c has a throw angle rated 8,3. Then you can conclude that this rubber has a really high throw angle compared to other rubbers.

But for these stats to be somewhat reliable, I would say a rubber needs to have at least 20+ reviews. Because some rubbers that only have 1 or 2 reviews the ratings on spin, speed, and control are all rated 10. Thats useless.

Its also important to note that most old generation tensor rubbers: Tibhar evolution MX-P, Tenergy 05, Rakza 7, Bluefire M, and so on where reviewed with the old ball, which had greater spin and speed ratings then they will have now with the plastic ball.
