is this a fake harimoto SZLC?

i stumbled upon a guy who wanna sell this blade on facebook. but it seems the handle pattern is different from the one i searched in google, and i haven't found anything similar to this one. can anyone help me to identify whether this blade is a real deal or it's just a fake one? thanks in advance

couldn't agree more with your feedback about the pic though😂

regarding the pattern, i don't see the white-yellow line in the handle, and the blue-black section on it also. i don't think the crap camera are the culprit, and when i asked the seller about it, he said that its the old version (U series, but i found the U version not having the same pattern as his). here's what i've found in google :


edit : checked your attached link and it shows the different handle pattern as the seller handle (missing white line and black section on the left part). btw i don't know how to spot the fake blade so that i just used the most simple and obvious approach. thanks for your help

yeah it seems sketchy though, and he offered a below par price for it. i think i will skip this one and maybe just grab a brand new fang bo b2x instead. dobyou have an insight whether the blade is an upgrade if i switched from old HL5 commercial?

It looks legit to me. Also obviously someone used it a lot so that is a good sign.
Being well-used is the best sign of a good blade.

yeah, and i guess its still very possible that they're using the fake product after all, and enjoy the blade based on the mere suggestion. cmiiw
