Players list for WTT Contender Skopje 2025 6/9-15 is out. Odo is top seed in WS. No sign of Hirano yet. She has points expiring on 5/13 (175), 5/17 (140), 6/10 (140), 6/17 (105). She needs to do well at the WTTC or risks falling behind Kihara, Nagasaki, and maybe even Yokoi (who is top seed at the Feeder prior to Skopje and also playing Skopje).

I hear you but the injuries have to be the key. Even players like Solja got to age 28 despite them. Ai Fukuhara got to 29. Lacking motivation is clearly not in the cards for Hirano. But injuries is fair game.

Catching up.

In the episode of "Going!" that aired on 2025/4/6 (filming took place in February), beside touching on her injured arm (still feeling a sharp pain from time to time but has subsided), Hayata revealed that she was the one that made the call to part with Ishida, with the thought sprouting just before Paris 2024. Citing the same reason as last time, she added that it's not just table tennis alone but also 人間力/human strength (human potential, resourcefulness, social skills etc.) and was curious to see how much she has acquired, that if she doesn't understand herself properly, she wouldn't be able to control it when she finally "wanted to win" (likely referring to the Dumb Hayata (1, 2, 3, 4, 5) throughout the Paris 2024 cycle that cost her and Harimoto the doubles match).

Right after that scene, it's revealed that 金恵美/Jin Huimei/KIN Hoimei and 左俊斉/Zuo Junqi/HIDARI ? are now the coach and sparring partner, respectively (as I projected), along with trainer 岡雄介/OKA Yusuke, with Hayata adding that it is easy to make corrections because different people are looking from different directions (while the screen shows her asking for Oka's opinion about the depth of her shot), which echoes what she said about Ishida.
