This event is considered special as the total prize money of the tournament will reach USD 400,000, which is the first of its kind in the history of the tournament, and the number of players has become 32 for men and 32 for women.

6 CNT players (LSD for being ATTC Runner-up, and LGY for host wildcard), 5 JNT players and 4 at most for the rest, all thanks to Harimoto for being reigning champions of ATTC Champion AND Asian Cup (one quota goes to LSD as a result). Not as fortunate for JNT on the women's side as Hirano will be left out. (Odo: Revenge for Zennihon 2024 exacted!)

Grp stage with separation by association then KO with no separation by association. Semi-finalists will qualify for World Cup 2025.

Outrage Chinese fans not happy that the trio OG champions are not part of ATTU Asian Cup
They are attacking the 2 head coaches and questioning if they are still part of the national team (very good question!)

Kim Kum Yong has opted out (likely because only 1 continental result counts and she already has ATTC 2024) and so her spot goes to Hirano.
