Looking for 2 set-ups, one defensive and other one ofefensive.

Hello guys, I'm looking for one offensive set-up for me and defensive one for my brother. We both played with yinhe mercury 2 with yinhe n10s blade, but these rubbers worn off. I found on the internet that yinhe big dipper or 729 bloom power might be good on FH and palio ak47 yellow on BH, but i didnt decided yet.

My brother playstyle is oriented on chopping and counter attacks, so we talked that offensive FH and more defensive BH might be good, but he is open to propositions.

Budget is not a case with my brother setup, only with mine I dont want to spend much more than on these proposed earlier. Aliexpress is our desired shop, because we dont have much other options in Poland.

I’ve tried several rubbers lately in what seems to be a similar search, so I’d like to share my impressions.

Sanwei Target special soft (37 deg, white package): It (because of the sponge) had no or very little catapult and was too slow for my offensive play. Very good spin and control, though. Might fit a defensive backhand.

3 rubbers I like for offensive FH: I haven’t tried Big dipper, but Jupiter3 38 and Bloom Power 47 are wonderful upgrades from Mercury 2. Sanwei Target National blue sponge (internationally silver package, but I’ve heard that it is the blue Target 3 package at AliExpress) is also similar but has lower throw, even though it might differ with playing style. I would guess softer versions (37, 45 and medium-) would resemble Mercury 2 medium more.

4 rubbers I like for offensive BH: J3, 38 deg is fine but 37 might be better. AK47 yellow is bouncier and a bit less spinny to me. Battle 2 gold (a bit bouncy and really spinny) is my favorite but only comes in 40 deg. BTY Rozena is safe and effective but I don’t see it on AliExpress.

Weight of my rubbers cut: J3 50 grams, BP 46 grams, STN (both versions) 50 grams, B2 47 grams, AK47 39 grams, Rozena 47 grams
