Looking for forehand hybrid rubber

I've been reading nice things about Omega 8 China, and I want to know if someone has tried Genextion V2C yet, seems promising.
I've tried Rakza Z and I was really happy with it, for some people it's slow but in a Viscaria I don't think that would be a problem, but if it's the case, Rakza Z EH would be the next step.

I think for price/performance the Friendship Battle 3 should get a very good shout.
Easily found for around 25 euros, very durable for a hybrid/Chinese rubber. Great control, and if you get the harder variants (maybe boost them) the rubber preforms amazingly. It's a bit more on the Chinese side looking at the "hybrid-scale" but preforms way more like a hybrid opposed to a H3 for example.

I personally have used it at 38 and 39 hardness, with little difference in between. 39 hardness is a bit faster on powerful strokes, but rubber forgives a little error a bit less. Didn't try 40/41 hardness, but from what I have read they are much faster, jump between 39 and 40 hardness is quite big from what I have read. Then again, for the money of 1 main-brand hybrid, you could buy almost 3 sheets of Battle 3, so you could try 39, 40 and 41 and see what you like best :D

Cheap and OK Chinese hybrid (softer sponge on tacky topsheet) I tried Palio Hk1997 gold. It was pretty good for the money.
Tacky dead when you give zero power, controlled bounce with a little bit of power and it produces medium spin pretty easily.

If you like that kind of rubber this is a good affordable choice.

Don't try to reglue though, that sponge is really fragile.

Do you mean the rubber is different from different batches? How much difference?
Performance is the same, it is just that the sponge is less fragile/ brittle. When the first rubbers came the sponge broke quite easily.
It felt almost dried out-ish?

Pretty big difference in quality

For durability D09C, Rakza Z/ZEH, Xiom Tau2 are good Euro/Jap Hybrid rubbers.
Loki Arthur China is a good choice along with H8-80 with the softer 37 degree sponge or H3 37 degree sponge.
The newer Xiom rubbers - Omega 8 China and Hybrid are pretty good, I’m currently using O8C on BH and O8H on FH.
I haven’t tried Xiom J&H C55 or the new J&H C57.5, but have used the J&H H52, which started to show some dullness to the top-sheet sheen and a drop in grip on the dull patches fairly quickly, 4 weeks, playing around 5hrs per week.but when new it was a very good rubber.
So when I started using the 08C / 08H which is supposed to use the J&H top-sheet tech, I was a little concerned that the dull, less grippy patches would appear. But so far the sheets are not showing any signs of this happening, after 20+ hrs of use. However time will tell !!

says look forward to play
hi,
I am Chinese penholder style. I use the xiom Asian China H 79-079 on my forehand it shows strength and control very well better than any harder rubber I have tried. The hardness is 50 degree made in Germany very well made. I use butterfly Harimoto super zlc Chinese Penhold version I use d09c on this blade before it shows too heavy. Now I use joola explode sensitive on my backhand it shows control well. I reduced the weight that is the point.
