Hi everyone.

I’m currently using a Tenergy 05 FX (without booster) and I really love the sound it makes when hitting the ball. It reminds me a lot of the times when I used speed glue many year ago ( ohh, those days using Master Chack).

I’m looking for a DHS or other rubber with a similar loud sound. Are there any rubbers with a built-in speed glue effect that are also soft and produce a loud sound when contacting the ball?

I already tried Rakza 7, Rakza 7 Soft, Hurricane 3 Neo (with booster), Hurricane 8-80 and the sound is not the same.

Any recommendations would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Hurricane 3 Neo Blue Sponge boosted makes a loud satisfying clicking noise while being the best foreahand rubber in the world

Stiga calibra lt sound
These rubbers offer an incredible sound; it's exactly what I was looking for. Last weekend, I was at a tournament and saw a player whose topspins produced a spectacular sound. I couldn't resist, so I approached him, and he told me he was using two Stiga Calibra LT Sound rubbers.

I wonder if there are newer rubbers that offer a similar sound.

Fun that you came back on my post, Newer Stiga Mantra sound makes 80% of the sound.
Nothing is better then a boosted Calibra LT sound tho

I bought a Mantra Sound too, which is supposedly the softest in that series, but its sound is nowhere near that of the Calibra LT Sound.

Possibly, applying booster to this Mantra could make it resemble a Calibra LT Sound, and I can't imagine what the latter would be like with booster. At some point, I'll definitely give it a try.

I really like this type of rubber—it gives me an amazing feel when executing topspins.

I also bought a Donic Bluestorm Z3, which is soft, but I haven't tried it yet.

I can't understand why there aren't more rubbers like this nowadays.

Simply because they lack neither the proper spin nor speed required for the requirements of current PB.
