Medium hard rubber for backhand

Hi all,

Any advice/suggestions for a medium or medium hard rubber on a carbon inner blade fitting to points mentioned below?

-Easy to push and drive
-Not big of catapult effect
-Not to speedy
-Not to spin sensitive
-Good in touch- and short game
-(relative) good in serve receive (not to springy)

I don't do any power loops with my backhand.. I rely on a stable serve receive / drive/ push / block / slow spin in my backhand game. I mainly use my backhand for controlling, I like to be agressive with drives in combination with active blocking.

What rubber are you using at the moment?.

Did you prefer faster, slower, more grip etc.

Then you'll get a tailored response from a fair few of the members who really love their EJ'ing 👍

Cheers

Good one, forgot that to add 😅

Currently using tenergy 19. Very nice playing 'far' from the table, I don't end up looping far away from the table with my backhand a lot, not particularly my strong suit so to say. It's ok in block and drives but to springy in the touch/short game and relative spin sensitive for my liking as well. biggest down side is it's fast and springy rubber for my open ups, difficult to control in this regard, of course this has to do with my inferior technique for the most part;).

Rubbers used on backhand the last years; (in combination with my carbo x7 and some wooden off- blades)
-Xiom vega europe; nice rubber
-Xiom vega X; bit to bouncy and not impressed by it's durability
-Rakza 7; nice allround rubber; not to good for drives and pushes imo, quite springy as well
-Rakza X; nice lineair rubber, I guess I need more speed to get the best potential out of this rubber
-Bluegrip S2; ok rubber, felt a bit dead/dull, very good in pushes and blocks imo tho
-Tenergy 19; to springy, to fast?

-For driving I like a bit kick (blade plays obviously a big part for this as well);
-For spinning/open up I don't like to much speed/spring
-Grip; I guess average or below average, no to grippy

If I had to describe a 'preference', maybe something like Vega Europa but more direct and lineair. I'm aware that Vega Europe is a med soft rubber, I liked it more on forehand. I'm not looking for a rubber that shines in the spinning department, just needs to be stable/controllable and not to fast on open ups.

Recently I've played with Dignics64 on a test blade in a tt shop very nice rubber in all departments but to fast for me to control (going to use that one on my fh).

Andro Hexer Grip or Victas Ventus Extra or Andro Hexer Powergrip SFX or Donic Acuda S2

Tibhar Hybrid MK, great rubber which ticks all the boxes!

You can look up on victas v15 stiff or extra depending on the sponge hardness preference (45 and 47.5 respectively) since they are relatively spin insensitive and take lesser effort compared to G-1. g-1 requires you to be more proactive during attacking shots in order to feel the strength of the rubber (g-1 does fulfill all your criteria just need to know that this rubber require to commit some effort during attacking shots to make quality shots)

I find G1 faster than any other rubber I tried. And I tried a lot.
