I'm currently playing 3 different blades with 2 sets of rubber combinations and wanted to have a log of my overall experience using these during training and in tournaments:
1. Nittaku Acoustic (NA) - Nittaku G-1 Max for FH and Nittaku C-1 2.0 for BH
2. Nittaku Acoustic IC (NAIC) - Tenergy 05 Max for FH and Tenergy 19 2.0 for BH
3. Harimoto Inner ALC (HALC) - Nittaku G-1 Max for FH and Dignics 05 2.0 for BH
Overall, I played the HALC the most and I find it to be the fastest among these 3, but I like the feeling from the NA given it's all wood properties. Both the Nittaku setup's are lacking passive play properties while the HALC on passive play makes sure that the ball lands on the table and it is more unforgiving. I have decided to play the NA for the next 2 months exclusively and see how I can make progress and will report on the playing characteristics.
