This thread is about getting players to Europe to play league. (thank you to the forum members that has guided me over the weeks, as I am very new to European leagues, espeicaly websites and what not)

Haven't done it for a while, first time it was French Regional B league in 2014 with a South African women's no 3.
A Cinderella story, a girl from a village in rural South Africa, off to Paris.

Now, there is a Austrian 1st division (upper), Taiwanese player who will see his first match tomorrow - so excited.

I have news that a German 6th division team is needing a USATT2400+player.
The key is that they can't be on the WTT system, because the league has started. The German player registry is linked to WTT database, and they will not accept player "mid season" if the players name is in the system.
So if someone haven't played WTT before, and good enough. Just maybe I can get you to experience German league for 50~60 days in Oct~Nov.
message me and we can chat if you are interested.

Its late on my side, so I will post more when I have free time.

So, why am I trying to hook people up in leagues from Taiwan?

Taiwan has a very strict national team policy, trials once a year. The format is very tough.
Mens/Womens could get 15~16 players
while youths are 12 players (U19, 17, 15, 13, 11)

For mens/womens, world top 40 players, 3 of them will auto qualify for the team. So basically Lin, Kao and Chuang don't need to take part.
the rest will, and will compete for 12 spots.

WTT has cap per country when players are entered (called NER).
Taiwan offers the top 6 (normally NER is set at 6) to enter, so 7 is backup if one of them doesn't enter, and 15 is so far down the waiting list.
Cut the long story short, 8 onwards probably won't see much game time.
Same applies for youth.
So we have players that are good enough to beat national team members or top national team members, but from an administration point of view, they cannot have WTT or international game time.

Thus, I thought hooking up with leagues in Europe is a solution to this problem.
Taiwan's level is very high, and leagues in Europe has many divisions, so they are bond to have good fits.

The player in Austria and playing his first match today was recently ranked 5 from the national TT championships (missing Lin, Chuang, Kao, Feng, Huang). However, he didn't get any WO for the super 5 not pitching (only Lin didn't enter, the other 4 entered and they WO due to other commitments). So this Austria league player did get into QF by merit and beating 2 x senior national team members to get there. He lost to the eventual winner.
So he is good enough to be senior team quality, but very difficult to get in during trials to do the intensive qualification matrix and even on, queuing at the back, because our players all have unlimited traveling budget.

So, I'm hoping I can help dozens of players to experience more international play and possibly even prolong some players career, who probably would have retire prematurely due to them unable to see more playing time.

Taiwan is the only country in the top 10 that doesn't have a league, and from U19 to senior, there is a huge gap with probably 30 to 50 players challenging that final 12 senior team spot. So motivations do get lost and people leaving or become full time coaches while very young. One of it is a good friend, who is only 22 or 23 now, and while a junior, he was ahead of Lin for many years for example. Former U18 no1, retiring at age 20 in his head and 22 or 23 officially. He does get good money being a 1 on 1 coach.

Feng Yi-Hsin for example failed to make the team in 2023, while he was a top player beating WR10 and 20 players in the bundesliga regularly.

First match, playing opponents number 1, former French senior team member (age 34), 2 time French junior champion and French vice champion in 2013. in 2010 had wins against Savie. A very tough and experience competitor.

First game, TPE player very nervous and was trailing all the way through until winning 12-10
Same thing in game 2, nervous caused forced errors, but crucial points was all won, still made it through and came back from behind to win 12-10
Game 3 was in the lead, but nerves kicked in and points level until winning 11-9

So win 3-0!
Good start

Just a small reminder about this time frame in Oct-Nov. At least in my region the registry time is over and if you want to register a new person it has to be for the second half of the season in January. Not sure if it varies in regions and you still can register people for the first half.

I'm not sure how it works, but they said they can still register someone, as long as the name is not on the system, including that of WTT system.
I had a TPE U17 player, who didn't play WTT for over 12 months, and his name was still on the system and wasn't possible.
So, we are busy with him for 2nd half now.

I think the Oct-Nov case is not going to happen, since we have national trials in 1st week of Nov and its getting too close to make things happen.

Usually yes, but the Wettkampfordnung 1) allows registering new/unregistered players at any time.

2.1.6 Late registrations of previously unregistered players are possible at any time, provided that the order of playing strength is observed. A late registered player may therefore neither receive a ban himself nor cause a ban for other players who would not have received a ban without the late registered player being taken into account. Such changes to the team registration after the end of the respective submission deadline must be requested by the club from the responsible body. They have no effect on the team membership of all other players in this team registration.

2.1.7 Changes to the team registration by the responsible body are not permitted after the expiry of the objection period in accordance with WO A 19.3, with the exception of late registrations in accordance with WO H 2.1.6 and decisions by the legal bodies.

For someone who is horribly unqualified to estimate I would say 2300-2400 TTR.

Very good estimate.

That's on the level of Erik Bottroff and others

Yeah, I would put him in the 2. Bundesliga (at least?). Seems too good for 3. Bundesliga.
There are some well know players like Chtchetinine (TTR : 2331), Wang Xi (TTR: 2496), Alexander Karakasevic (TTR: 2317) or Panagiotis Gionis (TTR: 2529) playing or at least listed in the 3. Bundesliga or Regionalliga (4. division) ;)

True. Oggersheim is close to me so I will be watching Gionis live when he probably beats everyone.

I have good information on how much the turn out fee is per match and the purpose of this "super star" team

I have to say, before Chang's first match in Austria, I would not put him in TTR2300 range.
probably more 2100~2200, because I was more familiar with USATT and used the OOAK comparison.
The data is his WTT match play. Do you know if QTTR will also incorporate Austrian 1st bundesliga? he played 2 matches the past Sunday.
second, could you help me check the level (and screen shot of point change like above) of these players?

Li Hsin-Yang
Salifou Abdel Kader
Tomas Sanchi
Andreas Levenko
Tomas Martinko
Felix Wetzel

Thank you

Li Hsin-Yang - App does not allow under 3 letter names...
Salifou Abdel Kader - Not found

Tomas Sanchi - 2094
Andreas Levenko - 2408
Tomas Martinko - 2299
Felix Wetzel - 2289
Thank you
Hm, Li is surname, if that helps?

Interesting Salifou isn't found.

I thought Tomas look pretty weaker compared to the rest
Levenko is the strongest in the team, but he fly into Austria just at the even of the match day from UTT in India, so he didn't look too comfortable and loss to Tomas. 1st game was 11-2, I thought it was going to be an easy one, but Levenko lost 2-3

Because I assume Kader was the last name. He was at 2438 until inactivity last year (?) and lost 100 for it.

The app is stupid. No matter if surname or name it doesn't allow below 3 letters hahaha

well, i still need to thank you for your efforts to check.
I reckon, I need a premium account to check and I don't play for any club, so I can't. So thank you!

Kader I was told, last year was 5th best player in the Austrian 1st bundesliga.
so if inactivity, that means his results from Austria doesn't sync with TTR.

So Chang beat a 2438 player and 2094 player on his first day.
i am happy, now I need to wait another 10 days to see how he performs during match 2.... all this wait... i'm not used to leagues:p

The Austrian league is not linked to the TTR database so no changes in TTR. They have their own evaluation system I'm not familier with (RC).
