Hello
I need help with choosing new rubbers for my Dotec Waldner AR blade.
I really like the feel of the Dotec handle and also love the sound of it (not many do it seems), but for some reasons it is too fast & uncontrollable for me, i keep overshooting the table. Currently I have Fastarc C-1 2.0 on FH and Quattro A'conda 2.0 on BH. This shouldn't be too fast on paper i'd say? I was wondering what to do with it, am i in need of harder & slower rubbers maybe? Or even more softer ones?
I also have a Sanwei Parla blade with Xiom Vega Europe max on FH (long pimples on the BH) which works perfect for me, i like the feel & most shots from half-distance land where they should.
I really would like to save & keep using the Dotec blade, but maybe balsa wood is just not right for me?
I planned on keeping this as a pips-in setup, but maybe it's a better option to have something thick and soft on FH and long pips on BH like my other blade?
I am not an aggressive power-looper, mostly play a bit defensive with the BH with some occasional fast hits, and shoot with the FH a bit away from the table.
Thanks!
