Hi,
I just found out their is a new thicker version (5.5 to 5.8 mm) of the Nittaku acoustic Inner carbon blade? Link: https://www.tabletennis11.com/other_eng/nittaku-acoustic-carbon-inner-5-8
Its meant to be faster etc Has anyone used it?
I have a Nittaku g-revision version (94g) and its close to 5.7mm and a table tennis colleague tried it and he had an older version of the inner and he said mine was faster and seem more stable? Has anyone tried this latest version.
Steve

Also curious about this. I have both the Acoustic inner carbon in the large handle (91g, 5.5mm) as well as the Hina Hayata H2 (88g). According to Nittaku's blade matrix, the inner carbon should be faster, but my H2 is noticeably more reactive. My inner carbon has always felt dead. The "special" version is probably more in line with their blade matrix chart.

Steve - your g-revision is 5.7mm? Might try that, thank you for posting this!

I think I was lucky to get one that thick though I think they are normally 5.5mm. Don't think they have a 5.8mm in g revision version yet though.

Some time ago i remember that you could order a custom made racket from nittaku.
I would like it, if it could be done like for the acoustic, a 6mm Nittaku So Ten instead of 5.7mm.
That blade has a nice touch but luck some power.
You still can.
