hey i am fairly new to table tennis (1 year) and I have just started to learn chopping. I mainly have been focusing on the basics but I currently use inverted rubbers on both sides, and i am reaaaalllyyy strugling to chop on my backhand, especially on heavy loops. so with all that in mind i am thinking about trying to get some long pip rubbers but i dont really know where to start. if anyone could give some advice on what rubbers would be good to get that are begginer friendly I would be very greatful :)

What are your goals with this. Do you want to primarily work on chopping and defensive play? Are you working on an allround game where you can do everything? Or do you want to become a LP player who uses all sorts of LP tactical play?

@Scarfed Garchomp is barking up the correct tree here.

Cheep. get .5 or .6 sponge LP... ANY of them, get... just get one and try it out.

Let ball drop to table height or a few cm below, you will be lower and more consistent with chops. (or at least easir to land with some semblance of quality.

Just get something cheap, with thin sponge to start out with.

Yinhe Neptune or 955, Dawei 388D-1, are good places to start

Any of these will work. Much better than p1r and feint 3 to start, they're more well mannered than the more expensive ones that are for a higher skill level.
