For a long time I have been reading about the feeling of playing with a 1 ply Kiso hinoki blade so I decided to try one. I wanted to go back to the traditional version and a couple of weeks ago Tabletennis11 had a sale on this one.

O boy this combo is fast and I must say it feels nice too but I think my expectations were blown out of proportions 😇
I don’t play pen hold but it will be a lot of fun for this summer.
Lots of work to get rid of the cork to fit a rubber on the backside and both rubbers are upside down …
