Hi,

I recently ordered Stiga Mantra Pro M.
To my surprise, the rubber had marks on it despite it being in a proper sealed packaging.
I had heard in forums that they have improved their quality from the original Mantra rubbers but sadly it was not to be.
Their distributor in India failed to deliver a new sheet to me before refunding the cost.
I haven’t seen such marks on a new rubber.
I want to know if this is only with the Mantra line or the other ones from the brand too.

I had similar story with Nittaku Sieger pk50 from tt11, maybe they were old butch, dunno but all black ones was with some kind of a medium size lighter spots in random part of the rubber. Now when it on discount - it has more sense to me, but when I was buying I have payed full price of 50 € per sheet

My first sheet of black Mantra Pro XH had similar marks. My gf bring it from China for around 160RMB... that's like 22USD so for that I thought maybe China got some 2nd grade rubbers for cheap. It played exactly the same as my 2nd sheet from TT-Japan which had no marks. But I agree it shouldn't be like that.

I got mine from tt-japan.net as well. Brand new, no marks, and plays fantastic. I'm probably going to order for both sides the next time I need to replace. With the extremely favorable Yen/Dollar it's a great deal even with the pricy shipping cost. Sorry OP had to go through it, but I think the title might be a bit misleading ... I think it's a distributor issue rather than a Stiga issue.
