Have you ever experimented with using kirinite knife scales for blade handles? From what I've read kirinite is relatively easy to work with, polishes up nicely, comes in some really funky patterns, and doesn't get slippery when wet. I think it would look very cool as a handle on a TT blade.

I'm tempted to give it a go, but if someone can advise otherwise I'd love to hear from you.

Thanks for your input...but I'm not quite sure I understand your comment "So why bother". If its easy to do then why wouldn't you? Or are you saying that because you're a skilled blade maker that you wouldn't bother attempting this because it's too easy and wouldn't test your bat-making skills properly? Or do you not like the look, or think the material is wrong etc?
