4 out of 5 rating for Rasant Power Grip

My review of the andro Rasant Power Grip. I used the andro Treiber K blade and @Tom used the andro Treiber G blade in the review.

- Not just designed for spin, a lot of speed could be produced.
- The sound had a nice Speed glue effect
- Medium to low throw
- Excellent for backhand punch shots and blocking
- Lots of spin on service, flicks and open ups
- Lacked some control due to its speed, preferably for advanced players with good level of technique
- Being in good position was important when using this rubber
- Ideal for offensive players
- Strong surface and grips the ball well, even when the ball is low

The andro power grip is not as hard as Tenergy which gives you good feeling when blocking and also topspinning from a backspin ball. I wouldn't recommend this rubber for elite players who play consistently everyday because it does not last long enough. However if your local league player you will get great feedback from this rubber and will help your game due to it's great control.

5 out of 5 rating for Rasant Power Grip

The andro Rasant Power Grip is a rubber for elite players with an aggressive playing style. The rubber is relatively hard. Therefore, you need a good technic for the topspin and the block. But if you are a good player you can exert very much pressure with your topspin. The andro Rasant Power Grip is not so durable as the andro Hexer, but regarding the quality it is the best rubber so far produced by andro.

Highly impressed by this rubber !! I am using a black sheet as FH rubber on Hurricane Long 5 blade.
1. hard sponge : perfectly qualifies for a good, powerful FH rubber
2. very grippy topsheet : easy to lift any kind of of underspin
3. medium low throw : good for counter topspins and blocks
4. great control both close to the table and away : but you need to get used to its sponge hardness ... cannot play casual shots close to the table and expect the ball to land on the other side...play with commitment and this rubber will deliver everything you need !!
5. it is not springy like other tensors, which proved very helpful when i was lifting underspin of opponent serves with topspin shots....

Recommend it to ppl who are at a decent level of play !!

Not just designed for speed, but a lot of spin could also well easily be produced.

- Excellent for backhand punch shots and great for blocking
- Lots of spin on service, Great Rubber For Good Servers.
- Good For Players Who Play Spin.
- You Need A Good Technique To Control This Bat Since It Is So High In Power.
- Great Rubber For Offensive Players
- Strong surface that grips the ball well even when the ball is low

I am currently using this on the forehand of my Infinity VPS. I have also tried this rubber on a Nittaku S-series SCZ. This rubber is quite hard and reminds me Evolution MX-P except that MX-P is faster and has a bigger catapult. This rubber serves quite well but due to it being fast it is hard to keep serves short but they still are very spinny, low, and hard to return. For returning serves keep an open angle as the rubber is low throw and is not very bouncy. The open up against underspin is difficult at least compared to Rasant Grip and Evolution MX-P. Still if it lands it will be quite powerful. The counter-loop is very good and can be placed easily. Blocks are also amazing. Smashing with this rubber is great especially with a hard blade. Overall, this rubber goes well on the forehand and if you plan to use it on your backhand don't expect very good results. With soft blades this rubber is easy to control and alows you to create soinny and controlled loops. On harder blades this rubber is not as good in the looping department but the power shots are going to be outright winners.
