Must...rotate... torso...
Member
Hi everyone!
I wanted to know if I'm learning the right "feel" of the forehand topspin, specifically footwork.
I struggle with playing multiple forehands in a row and often use more arm movements than torso, which I know is a big no-no.
The problem is, I often feel I don't have time to "rotate in time".
So I've started a new drill to try and fix it.
During my practise, I've found, on my follow through, I almost "hop" from, right foot behind left into ready position, using the momentum of the swing/body rotation.
It isn't how I normally play, but it does help me focus on my body more, but is this the correct "feel" of the shot or am I learning another bad habit?
Thanks for any feedback!
