Marty Reisman, the original ping pong hustler, dies aged 82

Really sad news about Marty Reisman. What a legend and character for the game. Full story here: http://uberpong.com/marty-reisman-table-tennis-legend-dies-aged-82/

One of a few decent table tennis pioneers who clearly saw thought the corrupted minds of recent ITTF chairpersons. As I quote:"Unfortunately, it(table tennis) has become a game of deceit and deception, not the back-and-forth conversation that a great match should be."

RIP my friend!

That's not about the ITTF, he's talking about the technical aspects of the game. Deceptive serves, deceptive spin/no spin on your shots, etc. And actually the rule changes (no hidden serves, less spinny rubber, less spinny balls, no frictionless pips, no spin pips) are moving the game towards a less deceptive game.

Without him, guess what Table Tennis would be like now? So deceptive, annoying and less rallies.
