Rubbers for children at school

I need some advise from you rubber addicts.

A few trainers at our club give clinics for young children at schools. They bring a few tables, a bucket of balls, rackets and other equipment to introduce the kids to table tennis.

We have around 20 child-sized bats that need new rubber.

As we are a small club with a low membership fee and rely on subsidies, we must look for affordable rubbers for young children to practice with. When those kids become more interested, we help them invest in a better beginner blade and rubbers, but at that point, the parents will pay for the gear.

What rubbers would you advise? (did I say cheap?)

Note though that you only get 1 sheet at that price, further sheets will be at their regular price, which is still very cheap, I agree.

What makes you say that ?? I always at least bought 2 or sometimes 3 in order to get the "choice- free delivery"

It says "Max. 1 pcs/shopper" under Quantity.

Maybe this is because the Aussies pissed off the Chinese recently 😂

Get some premade cheapies, it doesn’t matter. And it’s bound to be some broken ones as well…

Don´t bother with glueing new rubbers. Buy som cheap chinese premades instead on Aliexpress.

Some real nice blades can be had on the cheap but buying pre-made cheapies is the perfect way of buying complete crap.

I recommended the above cheap rubbers not only because they are cheap but because for the money they are of surprising quality.

It says "Max. 1 pcs/shopper", which I assume means 1 piece per shopper for USD0.99, does not matter how many they have in stock. I think USD0.99 is an introductory price, an incentive to buy more stuff.

EDIT: I wonder if I'm seeing different info based on the fact that I've not used them before?

well, i'm using a Taiwan IP address and I can say Taiwan also pissed off Chinese recently too then (or more likely since 1949)

But on that note, which country didn't piss of China? maybe we can ask those users to check, or I can VPN in and check....

I'd ask around the club for old used sheets, Mark V, aurus and Sriver don't die off even if they laying in dust.

Never had Huieson blades or rubbers, only balls. But they are also bang for buck.

Yinhe Mercury 2 is also very durable, good for a longer period. For €3 a sheet it is very good.

Yea that’s what we’ve been doing.

So some kids have t05 DNA Mantra etc. on those blades that make these blades more bouncy than their ADHD level
