I don't think there is an alternative to Glazyer 09c. As you can tell, some people love it. Some people hate it. I have not seen a rubber dividing people up so much (well Sanwei Target National aside). If you love it, then just buy the rubber and take a good care of it, and forget about a cheaper alternative.
Thank you both, I've tried some Xiom rubbers that I liked too but performance drops off really quickly and my current Glazyer90c is very new so it remains to be seen how long it can last. The shop I went to recommended G09c as a stepping stone to Dignics09c which if I go for will only be because Dignics lasts longer. I've also read elsewhere on this forum that G09c plays similarly to Loki T3. Now I'm not sure if I wanna continue sticking with G09c or go up or down lol or maybe just go tacky all the way with some chinese rubber. Really hate to continuously EJ though which is why I put off changing out my D80 for the longest time even though I didn't like the initial feeling.Rakza Z is my answer. It's cheaper but not as much.
I can easily switch these rubbers between my FH and BH without any issues.
Just be aware that Rakza Z might become bouncier over time. You may need to adjust your strokes slightly, while G09C tends to maintain its characteristics for longer time.
