Hi, I wanted to try chinese rubbers, most precisely friendship 729 super fx, can someone tell me how long does it last? Because I heard that tacky rubbers have to be changed very often. I don't want to know how long it takes for the stickiness to disappear, I only want to know how long it takes until the rubber has a bit to no grip.

If you keep it clean it could last a year, of course depending on how much you play. I don't know exactly about the 729 Super FX, but if you don't brush with a very closed angle, you wont be too much affected if the tackiness wears off a bit. Even if the tackiness wears off, there will be good grip left in this rubber, but clean it a couple of times during practice as well with a cleaning sponge and cleaning liquid or water and it will last very long for you.

729 FX is a dinosaur rubber, and I think it could survive a nuclear fallout and stick play decently. It does tend to lose a bit of stick if you don't play with it, but if you take care of it it should last quite a while in my experience

Absolutely. A defender in the club uses it, with different sponges (bought OX, used with special sponge). Dinosaur rubber - that's cool.

Other rubbers, like H3, and H8 (I've only used H8-80) have very good durability too. That is the last thing that should worry you.

For me tackiness lasts for ever as long as I clean the rubber regularly with water and always put a non sticky protection on. The rubber becomes even more sticky with the time (close to unplayability) This is exactly the case with my recent H3P(1 year old) which I checked 10 min ago after a hiatus of 20 days

funny you should mention that.
I often experience stickiness has gone away at the end of play.
I wash it - still not sticky.
I put the rubber protector on.
Next day or next play-day when I take the rubber protector off - All the good stickiness has returned.
It must be a miracle and therefore one should not try to comprehend it 😂

Exactly the case. I start to think that those protectors are causing some kind of static electricity to the surface, just like synthetic fabrics are electrifying the hair.🤥

Hi everyone,
just wanted to ask:. How often does a H3 nat BS need to be boosted? Will the boosting affect the durability? What are the effects and what to look out for? (Using Haifu Seamoon Nat'l Yellow booster first time ). And how many layers of booster are appropiate for both the optimal durability and performance of the rubber.

Thanks a lot guys!
