Cai Zhenhua who also succeeded in coaching, and is China’s vice sports minister is due to replace seventy-five year old Yuan Weimin following the first reshuffle of the Chinese Football Association executive board in a decade.

Cai Xhenhua commented “There are so many important tasks and so little time, I just want to day three words, determination, confidence and perseverance.”

“This is not a slogan, when I say determination I mean that I will put in huge efforts and set many goals in order to get Chinese soccer back on the right track.”

Football will be a difficult challenge for the fifty-two year old as football bureaucracy, poor management, and widespread underground betting rings have slowly impacted on the sport. China are currently ranked ninety-two in the world by FIFA and are also currently without a manager since sacking the former Spain manager Jose Antonio Camacho in June after a run of bad results.

Cai is looking forward to the hard work ahead of him stating “The harsh reality of Chinese soccer forces us to make big changes. I am to be burdened with an enormous task.”
