After a five-week absence due to travel, I'm back to blogging every Monday. This week I wrote about the upcoming US Table Tennis Hall of Fame Inductions and Banquet in Houston on Oct. 10 (I'll be there) and a number of other TT segments. If anyone has suggestions on future blog topics, let me know! (Note - the blog is totally volunteer. I make no money off of it. I don't even charge for the ads I put up.)

Hi Larry, always good to read your stuff, be it in your books or online.
However, for a couple of months(?) your TableTennisCoaching.com website appears to have been hijacked and redirected to a window company. I have seen this referenced on other sites (and i understand not everyone is afflicted) but is there any fix you know of or have you looked into it? I do miss my weekly fix.
fwiw, I am running Windows 10/Firefox/NordVPN. Nord alerts me that the site is not to be trusted. Heres a screenshot of the redirect:

Wow - this is the first I've heard of this. When I put the address into my desktop or laptop computers (with Chrome and Edge), it goes to my site. Does anyone else have this problem? Here's the link:

Just an update - I spent much of the last two days chatting with agents from Godaddy and Register.com about the issue. They told me they fixed the issue yesterday (after 90 minutes of chatting with tech support), but it would need four hours to propagate. It didn't. This morning they said whoever I worked with yesterday had no idea what he was doing. But both sides insisted, at first, that the other side needed to fix it. I finally got into a simultaneous chat with agents from Godaddy and Register, and literally spent 3 hours and 45 minutes this morning with them, with each giving me statements to copy and past to the other. All this just to fix the SSL certificate so https://www.tabletenniscoaching.com would go there, instead of to that window cleaning place. The problem was the domain is hosted at Register.com, but the nameserver is at Godaddy. (All my other domains - many of them - are at Godaddy, but tabletenniscoaching.com uses Drupal, which didn't work at Godaddy so I had to switch to Register when I opened the site 14 years ago.) Anyway, I'm now told it will take 24-48 hours to propagate, and then the problem will be fixed. We'll see. (This is the short version. In reality, I felt like a ping-pong ball as I bounced back and forth between the two, with both sides contradicting the other. At least five times I was told the problem was fixed, and then they'd say, "Oh wait, we also have to do this...")

The 48 hours above went by, and the issue wasn't fixed. For nearly a week now my full-time job has been "Chatting with Register.com and Godaddy.com." I spent more hours with them this morning - and Godaddy finally figured it out. Apparently, Godaddy hosted my site "on an old operating system,' which caused all the confusion. However, the issue is now...
FIXED!!!

all fixed indeed.

from experience
some times tech support isnt really as tech as we think they are.

it is just a routing problem, and I am glad it is routing both links to your website + the SSL certificates are up.
I am surprised they didn't auto renew the certificates, so when it expires again in:

you may need to contact them again to extend it (it should be automated if they are charging you for the service)
now back to writing and table tennis for you :)
